Odyssey Academy is a free public charter school educating students from pre-k 3 through 12th grade. We celebrated our 20 year anniversary last year. Odyssey Academy is a free, open- enrollment, public charter school committed to helping each student ind their passion and path to success. It is our goal to grow students into well-rounded young adults, who are ready to be productive members of society. We do this in three ways. First, by offering our students diverse academic and life experiences on our campuses, in our culturally rich Galves- ton/Bay Area communities, and beyond. Sec- ond, by offering an academic curriculum that is strong in math, science, and technology to develop essential critical thinking and prob- lem-solving skills. And third, by giving our stu- dents opportunities for enrichment through music, sports, art, technology, leadership and character development, career and college campus tours, and trips to Washington, D.C. and abroad. How would you summarize what you do? Odyssey Academy exists to inspire and develop the highest potential in every one of our students. Our teachers and staff work to build relation- ships with those in the Odyssey Academy Com- Dr. Jennifer Goodman Superintendent 4 | Chamber Express | June 2020June 2020 | Chamber Express | 5 ʹͲǤ ϐǡ ǯǡǡ ǤǦ Ǥ Ǥ ǡ ǡ Ǥ Ǧ ǡ Ǧ ǯ Ǥ ǡǯ Ǥ-ͳͻ ǡǯ Ǥǡ ǡ Ǧ Ǥ Ǥ Ǧ Ǩ Ricky Ǥ̷Ǥ ǤǤ Ȁ Ͳ-ͶͶͻ-ͺͶͻʹ Chris Ǥ̷Ǥ ǤǤ Ȁ ͺ͵ʹ-͵ͺ-ͻͲ͵ʹ US Health Advisors ͳͲ ǡͶͻ ȋͲȌͶͶͻ-ͺͶͻʹ Ǥ ̷Ǥ - Mainland 409-935-2496 Metro 281-337-5634 Island 409-765-5883 www.alexsair.com TACLA 15714C 2425 SH 146 North • Texas City 409-945-4461 • Fax 409-945-8479 • Email: tctrr.com No. 4 In Texas No. 10 in U.S. Gulf Coast No. 15 in U.S. Nationwide PORT OF TEXAS CITY Texas City Terminal Railway Company Port Authority6 | Chamber Express | June 2020June 2020 | Chamber Express | 7 1 2 3 The Texas CityǦLa Marque Chamber of Commerce will continue to operate and bring you relevant information and resources to help your business succeed. 4 • Your physical foot traffic may come back but not at the rates you’ve been used to.
