This first-class tournament, hosted at Bayou Golf Course in Texas City, is renowned as the biggest and best in Galveston County. The Golf Classic is named after legendary former Chamber Pres- ident Jimmy Hayley. Hayley de- signed this tournament to benefit members as well as the chamber.
