Citizens who attend will hear directly from local elected officials about current news and information pertaining to the region. It will be hosted in the Cham- ber Conference Room starting at 11:30 a.m. A delicious lunch will be served and every wom- an will get to share an update from her business or organization. The 2022 Chair of the WIB committee is Mandie McMillan Crowder of RE/MAX Coastal. Along with 2021 Chair Caytlyn Stanley of Hospitality Health ER, a great year of networking events has been planned. The theme for this meeting is “Powerful Women Invest in Them- selves.” Speakers will talk about investment opportunities that all women should be aware of including real estate and the stock market. “We are looking forward to a powerful year of connecting and helping women build their businesses and themselves within their industry,” McMillan said. “Our 2022 theme is power!” McMillan said. “The topics and speak- ers this year will help empower all the women who attend by discussing matters directly affect- ing us as women in the workforce. Several hundred local business people have participated and “graduated” from the yearlong program. In March, the group will travel to the Capitol in Austin for a session focusing on state government. It specializes in video production, storytelling, live-streaming, graphics, audio and podcasting. It’s a service-minded organization that strives to spread positivity and community. Clear Life Media operates out of the campus of Abundant Life Christian Center. They work closely with KHEA Radio, 99.5FM to help distribute client’s content throughout the community. Clear Life Media takes pride in providing high quality, professional video to all clients. They have provided video/ production services to all cities inside of Galveston County including the “Shine on La Marque” video series with the La Marque Economic Development Corpora- tion. During the pan- demic, Clear Life Media provided live streaming services to numerous non-profit organizations that couldn’t hold in-per- son galas and helped them raise more than $1 million.
